Our Story

The Gilbert House Restaurant, located in the heart of Gilbert, Arizona, is owned and operated by Caitlin Erickson, after being passed down by her Aunt, Susan Wright, who had owned the restaurant for over 21 years. Specializing in classic American cuisine, the Gilbert House prides itself in using the freshest of ingredients. Their high standards come from Susan’s upbringing on a South Dakota Dairy farm where she learned from her mother and grandmother.

A quaint breakfast house in Gilbert with a small menu of fresh and exciting breakfast and lunch options. We had the bison burger, patty melt, and the roasted tomato salad with chicken. Everything was amazing and fresh. Then we topped it off with a chocolate chip cookie and one lemon blueberry. They were off the chain!!! I now I have a restaurant in Gilbert, AZ to recommend!

This place was so clean and the food was amazing!! The best part about this place is I had my fur babies with me and they aren't small dogs. Had 2 large huskies and a German Sheppard. I love how accommodating they were, I was nervous taking them but my family and I were starving. I was blown away by the way they treated my babies and us...

This place is the bomb!! The inside is SO adorable. Their food is amazing, fresh, and generously portioned. The service is great, and fast. They are also reasonably priced! I love their burgers! I will definitely be back!

This little gem is one of my favorites in the east valley. I have dined here several times and always enjoy each experience. Today I had the quiche with a muffin, and salad. Everything was so tasty, I wanted more! This is a must, there is always a line so be patient it's worth the wait.

Came by an hour before close for a quick snack of cinnamon rolls and mimosas. The weather outside was perfect and the patio was practically empty. Our server was super friendly, the mimosas were tasty, and the cinnamon rolls are huge and addictive. Will definitely be making this a regular spot!
