Gilbert House After Hours – January Edition!
Join us throughout January for Friday night dinners from 5–8 PM—except Friday, January 23, when we’ll be closed for a private event.
Fridays keep the classic After Hours vibe: laid-back, comforting, and all about good food and good drinks. Think burgers, breakfast-for-dinner, and starters that know how to kick off the night. Live music is on the schedule for the rest of January—because dinner always hits better with a soundtrack.

Hobbit Feast: A Tolkien Birthday Dinner!

In honor of J.R.R. Tolkien’s birthday, we’re teaming up with our neighbors at Literally, A Bookshop for a full day of Middle-earth magic—ending with a cozy, ticketed Hobbit Feast here at the Gilbert House.
Inspired by Recipes from the World of Tolkien, this three-course dinner is designed for good company, warm flavors, and a cozy night in the Shire.
Festive attire encouraged — Hobbits, Wizards, Elves, or Shire-adjacent flair welcome.
Each ticket includes one non-alcoholic beverage. A Hobbit-themed drink menu (mead, mulled wine, hot chocolate, and more) will be available for purchase.

The Hobbit Feast is the grand finale of a full Tolkien Birthday Celebration next door at Literally, A Bookshop, with a Shire Market, costume contest, tea party at The Red House, and trivia.
